In.deed is an Alms & Legs ministry designed to reach out to individuals or families in our church during times of medical illness, death, job loss, etc. Encouragement is administered through visitation, phone calls, cards, coordination of needed services, occasional meals and prayer. We strongly encourage and utilize the involvement of Community Groups to help meet these needs. To find out how you or your Community Group can serve in this way or be available to help with various needs; or, if you have a need for the body of Christ to "come alongside" you, call 864.616.1203.
I John 3:17 (NIV) "If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?"
James 2:15-17 (NIV) "Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, 'Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,' but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

Prayer Requests and other Needs |
Bob Cord, who is our elder in charge of prayer for our church, has given me the privilege of contacting people with needs for prayer and other things. If you have a need, please contact me, Mary Speights at 864.306.6465, Denise Tow of the Alms and Legs ministry, or Stephanie Carroll in the church office at 864.859.2662. Using the Community Groups list, I will contact the leaders and notify them of the needs of a member of their group. If a person is not a member of a Community Group, then I will do my best to contact persons in the church to help take care of their needs.
