"This, and then hell," said a missionary in South Africa when overlooking a poor South African village. He saw the lives of the children in that village and knew what was happening in those lives. Take the eight-year-old girl raising her five-year-old, three-year-old, and infant siblings--alone, scared, starving, and abused, and likely HIV/AIDS positive. What's the answer to this growing problem?

The Curtis Family in Scotland |
Almost seven years after moving to Edinburgh, Scotland, to pursue a PhD, Jason Curtis and his family now make Scotland their home in order for Jason to work as the director of Rutherford House. The vision of Rutherford House is to provide Scotland’s clergy with pastoral support, research tools, help in starting small-group ministries, and resources. The resources for study and encouragement are little to none, and a pastor is most often alone in his parish church. Just finding one minister for a church in the city of over ½ million is almost impossible. The Rutherford House ministry wants to keep the evangelical ministry alive in Scotland.

Rafael and Mary Restrepo, along with their daughters Carina, Jesica, Felicia, and Bianca, serve with Advancing the Ministries of the Gospel International (AMG International) in Spain.
They have ministered in Murcia, Spain and now are working with a church plant in Torrevieja. Because of the variety of people groups in Spain, church plants are needed to serve speakers of English, Dutch, French, Spanish, and many other languages. Any time of the year is good for a short-term trip to help them out with their sports, campus, prison, ladies, children's and church planting ministries. Please pray for them in Spain, because, as Rafael says "Spain is a place that will eat you up."
